Flourish Momentum is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that wellness and healing resources should be available to all, and that commitment extends to the digital experience we provide.

Our commitment

We are actively working to ensure that flourishmomentum.com conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility. This includes making our content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or zoom tools.

Steps we have taken

We have invested in a number of accessibility improvements across this website, including:

  • Navigation — Our main navigation is fully keyboard-operable, with support for Tab, Arrow keys, Enter, Space, and Escape. Dropdown menus use a disclosure pattern with proper ARIA labelling, and a mobile menu with focus management is available on smaller screens.
  • Skip navigation — A “Skip to main content” link is available at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation.
  • Focus indicators — Visible focus outlines are displayed on all interactive elements, including links, buttons, and form fields.
  • Screen reader support — We use semantic HTML, appropriate landmark regions, ARIA attributes, and descriptive labels throughout the site.
  • Images — All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Interactive components — Carousels, accordions, and menus include full keyboard support, accessible state management, and ARIA live regions where appropriate.
  • Zoom and text resize — The site allows users to zoom up to 500% and does not restrict the viewport.
  • Motion — Animations and transitions are suppressed for users who have enabled the “reduce motion” preference on their device.
  • Colour contrast — We have reviewed colour combinations across the site against WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast requirements.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time project — it is an ongoing commitment. We have conducted an audit of this website and have identified specific areas that do not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively remediating these and will continue to review and improve the site on a regular basis.

Conformance status: We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard, and we are working to address this.

Third-party content

Our website uses a number of third-party tools and embeds, including newsletter, payment, and booking platforms. While we request that our providers meet accessibility standards, we cannot fully control or guarantee the accessibility of third-party services.
